1 and 2 point Perspective

Here's some realism: one and two point perspective sketches I did. 3 are from photos and the last one I made up as a typical hallway one-point. I like it best because I made up the edge-softening fabric to give a less-cold feel. I used to do storyboards in this style.

Wow! These are terrific, my art class did a perspective architecture assigment last week and nobody's was as good as these! Did you study in school for this stuff?

You can do it all! This is the kind of stuff everyone over here at Otis does, everyday.

What kind of projects did you storyboard, commercials?

For whom did you do storyboards in this style?

If I should know this already, feel free to lambaste me viciously as a derelict reader of your blog.

"For shame, for shame," etc.

Years ago, I used to do in-house boarding for a NY based company. The last thing I did was a live-action electric scooter infomercial. (ughhhh barf) But I did perspective crap, and i'm glad i learned it. helps with cartoons and stuff.

whoa i didnt know you did backgrounds..! that is a darn nice car. the hallway one is especially cool; i really like the diamond wallpaper, lamp & palm fronds.

your perspective is pretty right on; i'm still working at mine

Nice realistic perspective studies, I'd like to see some twisting and bending (ie warped perspective) to make it more interesting, though.

i notice markers used for shading, but is that pen, pencil or some charcoally type drawing utensil used for the lines?

I am always in awe of good background drawings. My perspective... well the nicest thing to say about it is it needs a lot of work
