I'm so amused by your work. Every time I look at your pieces, they remind me of ren and stimpy, which is my favorite cartoon of all time. Keep up the work.
Beautiful, Marlo!!! As usual your drawings show off not just your funny observations, but your creativity as well! Your drawings are always surprising and fun to stare at for long periods of time! Small minty Marlo is really adorable.
Like the children I'll never have, I love them all equally!
BUT! The color ideas on the top and bottom two really intrigue me! I wonder what brought those good ideas on. The favoring of no color except a few pink and yellow hues; I'd never arrive at a conclusion like that on my own.
I'd have to copy more established people like you to get such a good idea! And I really like the posh lady at the bottom, because by doing it with no color it almost makes you feel like she, like her clothes, are out of time and very dated; like an old photograph.
And the photo at the bottom makes me fearful for your life! Let me explain: lately, you've been unnecessarily harsh on your own work ( at least when I talk to you ). What if you were to dislike something you drew so much that you recoiled in disgust and then fell down the stairs?
You'd be a big beautiful spinning red blur! It's funny, sure, until a Nice Lady injures her pancreas. That's no good.
If you're going to be overly-critical of your art then please, next time you're at the easel, for my sake at least, wear a seat belt.
Safety first and all that.

PS: Thanks for finally posting the Green Marlo Fairy! She will no doubt be in my dreams causing a pleasant ruckus.
the new couple drawing is great, but nothing will ever be as glorious as the couple drawing of the grumpster with the Jack Daniels shirt on and his shaggy haired lady. The expression on his face as he holds up your picture is epic.
Hello Marlo,I'm new here and I like the art too. These work are Great!Your drawings are like to see a day-dreaming experience on a paper, full of creativity and surprises:-)All This with your very original signature included. Regards

The lady dreaming of her weed bag, the buck toothed finger head & his enthusiastic girlfriend, the lumpy overweight gal with the Curly Howard grin...it's all so perfect & patently Marlo: just like your hair...which is Sarah Connorish but more poofy & exciting:)
Hey, I like the top one the best! Because it looks like pencils, I guess! It's always a special treat when you decide to through us a bone now & then! Something tells me you are drawing a lot more than you are POSTING. Marlo, Where was that photo (with you drawing) taken?
Wow, these are really nice, Marlo! I especially like the first one and the little baggy guy. I like the colors you put in the stoner guy's eyes. Those colors remind me of the 90s for some strange reason.
Helloooo You don't know me; I'm some kid from Australia. But I've browsed through your blog a few times. Anyway... last night, for some reason, I had a dream that it turned out you were my long lost half sister. And then when I woke up, I was sad, because you were a good big sister. Sigh... :( Just thought you should know that. Anyway, bye! :) PS: Great art!!!
Ah, Marlo, your caricatures never cease to amaze. They show how good you are at observation, and plus you have the "stare-at-until-your-eyes-melt" quality with your pictures.

You're gonna caricature the wrong person one of these days, and meet your demise!!

Fantastic work as usual. Have you ever thought of branching out to other mediums like sculpture? I'd love to see your take on that!
