Tawny Scrawny Marlo

I started drawing really young. Here's me in 1988 with my charcoal drawing of a plaster cast.

I was about 7 in these pictures.

I remember drawing Looney Tunes with the VCR on pause a lot when I was younger. the black cat from Tex Avery's 'Bad Luck Blackie' was my favorite to draw. nice photos :P

You're a real cutie and you haven't changed a bit. That bike shot is a fab one.

So the did ya grow into the curls or are they some kind of salon voodoo? I have the crazy curls, and I chop em off before they can take over my head and eat my brains.

Seriously, that's such a great drawing for a 7 year old. I certainly wasn't using charcoal or drawing from life at that age. Back then I simply tried coppying flat images from magazines with my #2. It wasn't until much much later that I found out drawing from a flat piece of paper isn't the best way to progress in your art.

Anyway, great photos.
